Information technology department.
Department of oil-field geophysics. Activity: Control over fulfillment of scientific and production targets by Production Association affiliates. The department assists them in purchase and use of advanced appliances and technologies, develops and directs application of geophysical survey techniques in exploration for and prospecting of oil and gas.
Major accomplishments: Basic activity of the department comprise analysis of geologic and geophysical data. Interesting results are achieved in researches on earthquakes short-term prognosis.Personnel Idris Mamedguly ogly Guliyev - head of the department. He carries out inspection and co-ordination of activity of PA affiliates and Institute of Geophysics. Currently he is involved in interpretation of seismic survey data.
Department of oil-field geophysics. Activity: Planning and control over implementation of current and future production by PA affiliates, designing of integrated programs, advising in borehole geophysical investigations both onshore and offshore, inspection of perforation and shooting works in oil-gas wells, interpretation of borehole geophysical data, assistance in purchase and utilization of advanced appliances and technologies.
Major achievements: Application of new borehole devices : KSAT-7M, IKS -1M, AES and computerized station Kedr -02.
